Follow up consultation
(15-25 Mins)
£250
Cost for follow up consultations with Dr Jayaseelan.
This is for patients who have already seen Dr Jayaseelan previously for their condition and are returning to discuss the results of investigations or their progress.
If you wish to consult on a new condition, please inform us beforehand as you may need a longer appointment slot.
All fees will be confirmed in writing prior to your consultation so you know exactly what to expect. You will be asked to confirm that you accept these fees before your appointment.
Costs for investigations are separate to consultation fees and are charged directly by the hospital. If you need investigations, this will be discussed and agreed separately during your consultation.
Self-paying patients should get a referral letter from their GP or doctor prior to their consultation. However it is possible to see self-paying patients following self-referral but we recommend contacting us before your appointment to ensure that a neurological consultation is the most appropriate path for you.
Cancellations: Cancellations are subject to a minimum 24hr notice period. If you do not attend your appointment or cancel within 24hrs of your appointment time you will be charged for the full cost of the appointment.

You will need to supply us with a copy of your pre-authorisation number before your appointment to confirm the insurance company have given approval and to allow us to go ahead with the consultation.
As your consultation is a direct contract between you and the consultant, you will be liable for any consultation fees or shortfall if your insurance company do not pay.
